Shameless
I thought it would be a good idea to try to promote writing by reflecting on what great writers once wrote about the vocation. The people whose words I use to foil my own thoughts were geniuses or at least clever enough to get scholars to believe they were. But they were also totally human. When you get right down to it, writing is one of those things that we can all do. Therefore we can all have opinions on the subject. But like running, singing, fly fishing or anything else, some of us do writing better than others. These folks had definite opinions about writing. And until I can find the right words to describe my own, I'll play off of theirs.

The "caffeine" series
This low budget series was photographed in my kitchen and distributed exclusively via email. The other common characteristic is that there something to do with coffee in each ad.
Humor works
Humor can be an important tool for any writer but only if it is appropriate to the situation and mindful of the audience. It should never make a joke of the product or the consumer either. Humor also works best when it's actually funny.
